Natural light is your best friend when it comes to taking photos of your kids - as it eliminates the need for flash, as well as giving you natural-looking light. But there are various ways to use window light. You can position your camera with your back to the window, so your child is facing the light full on. Alternatively, they can turn to the side for a half-lit photo, or you could have them in front of the window for an interesting silhouette.
